Leaking TRV, no drain off valve on the heating system, full drain off with the trusty 20 ltr foldable bucket.

Filled up the heating system, topped up with Fernox F1 balanced and bled radiators.

Advised the customer to install a drain valve whilst changing the trv, they chose not too

9lb leadlock / 22mm copper to 9lb leadlock repair has restored water to this communal lead water main serving nine terraced houses.

Often found in properties built before the 1970s, pose significant health risks and operational issues, including poor pressure and contamination. The use of lead in water pipes was banned in the UK in 1970. While water companies are responsible for the main in the street, owners are responsible for the supply pipe from the property boundary to the building.

Leaking bottle trap under the wash hand basin.
This has never been installed correctly from installation tut tut 🙄

Replaced with new trap, tested, left water tight.

Saturday 7am call Glossop, Derbyshire. Boiler losing water pressure, floor covering and walls damp in the kitchen.

Identified the heating pipe inside the wall to be the cause.

Mickey Mouse has found a water source to hydrate, smart little things these guys.

Pipe repaired, heating system refilled added inhibitor bled and balanced the system.

Heating restored warm house, happy customer.

Mouse🐹 management moving forward.
