Castrads is 20! 🎉

This Saturday, we’re bringing the UK and Poland Castrads team together to celebrate our 20th anniversary with our annual staff BBQ. Don’t worry we’re not leaving our New Yorkers out, we’ll be celebrating with our US team a little later in the year ❤️

It’s a milestone we’re really proud of, and the perfect opportunity to get everyone together and recognise our brilliant team for all their hard work and dedication over the years.

A quick note on our showroom opening hours this Saturday:
📍 Stockport: closing early at 1pm 📍 Chelsea: closed all day

We’ll be celebrating with our friends at local business Reddish Ale who are kindly hosting us for the day and to Track Brewing Co and Cloudwater Brew Co for suppling the hops!

A huge thank you to our customers, staff, resellers, friends and everyone who has been part of the Castrads story over the last two decades.

Actually, radiators aren’t as seasonal as you might expect.

It’s easy to associate radiators with winter. You notice them when the evenings draw in, then perhaps pay them a little less attention once the windows are open again.

But a cast iron radiator is part of the room all year round. Its shape, colour and character contribute just as much in August as they do in January.

The difference is, in winter it has work to do.

For the rest of the year, it takes its place among the more permanent features of a room: sash windows, original staircases, reclaimed tiled flooring, beautifully made joinery. The things that quietly give a space its character, whether they’re being put to use or simply being lived with.

A cast iron radiator belongs in much the same company.
