Another project completed with a huge difference from start to finish.

✔ Unsafe and deteriorated enclosure removed
✔ Damaged timber replaced
✔ New structural roof installed
✔ Felt roof covering fitted
✔ New UPVC access door installed
✔ Finished with new fascias and trims
✔ Safe, secure and compliant installation delivered

The existing gas meter enclosure had deteriorated significantly, creating a safety concern. We refurbished the structure to provide a robust, weatherproof enclosure that is now safe, secure and fit for purpose.

Out with the old, in with the new 🔨

This opening had seen better days — the original rusted steel angle lintel externally and deteriorated timber lintel internally were no longer providing adequate support.

Works carried out included:
✔️ Carefully propping the structure above
✔️ Removing the failed lintels
✔️ Installing a new galvanised Catnic lintel
✔️ Fitting a cavity tray and weep holes for proper moisture management
✔️ Stitching the brickwork back up with new matching bricks

A proper structural repair carried out safely and correctly to ensure long-term support and protection from future water ingress.
