Many of our customers enjoy features of the Connect App for remote control and notification from their Intruder Alarms.

B Secure has received notification from Texecom that version 1 of Connect will cease to function on 24th March 2025 and all customers are advised to upgrade and use Texecom Connect V2.

With a bit of IT knowhow and using the End User Guide attached, customers may be able to carry out a simple transfer to Connect V2 themselves. For our clients that struggle to migrate to the new app we can arrange a reduced rate engineer visit to help, please contact our office for assistance.

Clients that need an engineer reference number should email a request to [email protected] .

It is with great regret that we share the news that John Boardman, co-founder of B Secure and my business partner for over 25 years until his well deserved retirement in 2010 sadly passed away on 11th October following his long battle with MND. John was a big character and great company in and out of the workplace. His passion for travel, rugby and all things related to railways never left him, he leaves behind innumerable stories of his trips and adventures. John will be missed but remembered fondly by his many friends, customers and ex-colleagues.

We had an unusual start to the day. In the early hours our on-call engineer took a call from a cat owner who had spotted their missing moggy 'Tilly' in an abandoned industrial unit in Old Trafford. The reason B Secure got the call was because our bellbox was on the front of the building. After several phone calls to the previous and current property owners Tilly (who went missing on Bonfire Night) was rescued and reunited with her grateful owners. As always B Secure were happy to help. As you can see Tilly was ok but hungry when she got home!
