Picture this;

It’s Saturday afternoon & the suns out

Bi-folding doors open

You’ve got your old Metallica-T shirt on

And the Barbecue is ablaze

A gentle breeze causes the scent of the steaks sizzling away on the BBQ enters your nostrils

The missus cracks open a bottle of Malbec,

Your ears are serenaded by the sound of the cork *Pop*

The ambiance of In the air tonight by Phil Collins playing on the Sonos speaker in the background

And more importantly

Your sat on that Rattan corner sofa you bought from Ikea just last week!

Ahh! *cracks open another beer*

This is what summers all about!

But then…

Suddenly!

The alarm goes off and you realize it was all just a dream!

Not to mention you’ve left saliva patch on your pillow yet again, not cool!

You stand up and peer out of your bedroom window

Look down to see more of a gloom jungle than a garden paradise you long for

Just wishing you had that garden to enjoy and others envy

That contemporary look you see plastered all over Pinterest!

But sadly

It was only just a dream.

…but

Here’s the kicker;

It doesn’t have to be ‘just’ a dream.
