We’ve been back at St Martins again this time doing a large re-pollard on a London Plane which sits right next to the cathedral, we had to get approval from the council (tree preservation order) and also a TTRO (temporary traffic regulation order) or to you and me a footpath/road closure due to the handy cut through from town for safety reasons.

The job was completed with in the time frame and the path was opened up early thanks to a great team.

I think there was enough justification on this tree being reduced to a monolith today, the tree also decided it didn’t like me and did a ‘tree wee’ all over me, I’ve never had one so full of water, it’s no wonder no nesting birds were found on the pre work inspection!
