This conifer hedge had a lot of dead and dying areas and so the customer wanted it all removing which was no problem for Chester Oaks . The stumps will be ground out, which means no damage to surrounding plants, leaving the area flat and ready for planting in the future. The garden also looked very much lighter and the customer was extremely happy with the results.

This was an ash in lixwm village which had succumbed to the deadly ash die back disease which is devastating so many of our ash trees today.
It could of been a much more complicated felling/ dismantling job if it hadn't been for the local farmer allowing us to drop the tree, in one, in his field so thank you very much John for that.
All wood and debris was cleared, field raked and left tidy as usual.

Another victim of storm Dave.

Having the right equipment makes the job easier and quicker for us and therefore cheaper for the customer.
This hydrolic quad can pick up three quarters of a tonne yet it's still small enough to fit down the side of most houses.
Space wasnt the issue with this job just the volume of wood which the quad delt with easily.

Morning All, this was another felling by dismantling , which means every piece has to be cut and lowered by hand to avoid damage to other plants , possible buildings and people in some times.
In this case the hawthorn was in a tight spot, right next to a summer house and in border with lots of other plants but as you can see the job was completed successfully with garden left clean tidy - another satisfied customer for Chester Oaks

This was a felling by dismantling for this conifer to be removed from this small garden area.

It had just grown too big and was blocking the light out, what a difference it has made for the customer and just in time for summer.

All the wood and brash removed and garden left clean and tidy .

This is aerial view of trunk of large conifer tree being felled. Landed exactly where it was supposed to, between sheds, fences and gas tanks!

This was a job where we had to dismantle the tree because it was very close to the bungalow and no room to fell in one without damage to the rest of the garden but as you can see this was no problem for Chester Oaks.
All the waste was chipped and removed leaving the site clean and tidy.
Chipped wood from your trees can however be left on site of any job which can then be used as a mulch on borders to keep moist in soil in the summer and help keep weeds down or used to create paths, just make sure you ask John or Aled for advice.
