Sadly today we lost my Dad. He had a major stroke last Friday and this morning he passed away peacefully. He was 91 and has had a good life.
It's been a very difficult few days and I'm unsure as to how long we will be staying in Yorkshire to
support Mum and we need some space and time to grieve.
If I have appointments arranged with you I will be in touch.

Apologies but there maybe some changes to appointments this week. My Dad had a major stroke yesterday and is likely to be in hospital for a while he has a clot on the brain which is inoperable. I'm heading to Yorkshire now so will update those with appointments.
At this time family comes first ...I hope you understand.

Today had been so unpredictable with very heavy showers...well it is June!
Between the showers I managed to pot up our hanging baskets and some pots. Plants came from last weekend.
Hopefully we will be growing our own plants for baskets next year! 😊

Catching up.
Yesterday I visited 'The Rose Garden ' and ' New Beginnings '
I have now been working in both of these gardens for 3 years and what difference in that time. Plants removed, bulbs planted, weeded, mulched added manure and a beech hedge planted. Both gardens now healthy and thriving 😊

Something a little different today. At the request of The Orchard Biggar we weeded the Elm tree infront of the shop. I believe the council no longer do this...such a shame as many or dare I say all are needing attention
I've only been i Biggar since December it's a beautiful town and with a little bit of time focused on tidying up some areas it will be beautiful

Something a little different today. Weeding around the Elm tree at the front of The Orchard Biggar. Apparently the council are no longer weeding around these street trees and keeping the areas weeded makes a big difference. Hopefully more businesses will get on board with this?

Hello ...it's been an on off week. Wednesday 'Voyage of Discovery ' clearing the back of the Rockery and a raised bed. Then weeding another beautiful Rockery. However Wednesday I coulx hardly move with back anx hip pain!
Today back to 'The Restoration Garden' clearing ground elder in the front garden which meant digging up most of the plants...leaving for a while now! I'm off now until Tuesday. I hope you all have a lovely weekend 😊

Another stunning day! Against all odds my Verbena boniarensis has seeded...lots of little seedlings. I have never managed to get it to seed before in Scotland. There must be something special about this garden the Perovskia is also doing really well 😀

Morning...a dry warm day ahead.
Moving forward with the 'Somerville' garden just now. Mr R cleared another area of grass yesterday so more place for planting! Still plants to move and new plants and bulbs to go in.
The rose bed is looking good. Weeded this week and the Aliums are now in full bloom. Salvias Amistad and Hot lips about to flower.
Today I'll be planting Knautia macedonica, Verbena boniarensis and Briza media. As well as Gladioli and Nerine bulbs 😊
