We're half way through November, where's the year gone?!

Guy Fawkes and Halloween have been and gone, and the weather undecided everyday, in fact.. every hour!

We're booked up for the next month until mid-December with enquiries coming in daily, which we schedule in accordingly, some for next spring, get in touch if there's an outstanding or niggly bit of work that needs doing, we can help.

Some yearly tips, but due to the time of year, not necessarily all to do with outside work. With the most fun season just around the corner for us all, here is a good round up.

Online purchasing - remember to sign up, try to avoid 'Guest checkouts', this way you'll have an email trail and an account to verify purchases.

Personal Details - NEVER give anybody your personal details over the phone, email or text to verify anything, they already have your details. And look out for the obvious signs such as spelling mistakes, links to unusual websites, always check with the company or bank first.

Do NOT borrow, explain times might be challenging to those that you care about, they will understand, give what you can only, not more than what you have.

And finally, next week is all about others, not ourselves, these yearly days/weeks are worth thinking about how we can contribute:

13th November - World Kindness Day
The world is 'instant', with so much focused on the now and not the outcomes and effects our actions have, take a moment everyday and before you speak to people, are they respected, are they happy, go ahead and ask them.

15th November - 19th November - Anti-Bullying Week
It seems with huge historical focus on this subject you might think it was nearly eradicated, sadly not, look for the signs that someone is being mentally abused in the form of bullying, what can you do, how can you help?

15th November - 21st November - Road Safety Week
Every evening I hear cars travelling on an adjacent road, and you can tell from their roar and speed of their sound arriving/receeding that they are above the limit. We are all in a hurry to get someone, but why is my question..

Why... don't we leave a little earlier?
Why... do we need to use our phones when driving?
Why... do we need to travel so fast, nobody is the perfect driver.

Lets move towards December with a bit more respect, understanding, thought and care for those around us, as we age we will ALL depend on others.

What a blustery day, with some gusts affecting the aging fencing out there, after a couple of quotes this morning its becoming clear already that loose, rotted or near-end of life fencing is going to become a focus area over the gloomy months ahead for Aspectworks.

Check yours today, are the posts stable without any wobble?
Are the fence panels in good condition?

We've been blessed with another great Sunday, you're probably pottering around or having a morning cuppa, rightfully so!

Take some time outside, what inspires you? Clear, clean spaces... Large bespoke landscaped areas... Nature and a wild feel... or perhaps you have a lack of these things?

Mini decked areas are popular at this time of year, a hot-tub in winter appeals to many to sooth the winter aches away.

Garden retreats are being requested more too, helping create slow and dreamy entertaining hideaways, NOT in the house with its worries.

The Chelsea Flower Show is still in full swing until Sunday, featuring some excellent inspiration such as Small Garden Space, and just remember - YOU can create anything you want!

Start enjoying growing organic food as a great benefit to firstly your diet but mental health too, and in any size garden or any small space, would you like to have raised planters for some hearty vegetables, or try your hand at some lovely herbs to add extra flavour to your meals.

Lawncare is still important before September ends , put grass seed down now and then cover up with netting or sticks to stop Pigeons and other birds eating it! Aspectworks can also renovate your lawn with either new turf or artificial lawn for a complete make-over.

Another lovely sunny warm day for September, surely one of the last before October arrives? Take advantage by booking Aspectworks to provide wood treatment to your outdoor structures or have your patio jet-washed or replaced if in a poor state.

Its also the perfect time to install new turf with the grass roots and soil warm enough to help it bed in before the cold weather arrives too.

Septembers slipping along and I'm sure we're all anticipating the start of the run up to that certain of the year (no I won't say it yet!).

We thought it about time to move into the big wide world of Facebook now that Aspectworks has been set up since May and established in our areas of Poole and Bournemouth.

2021 seems to be the year of huge change.

Both myself Paul and Mike have created Aspectworks to cover Poole and Bournemouth for Groundworks including Decking, Patio, Shingle layouts, Patio pathway installations. We also both repair existing fencing, or replace/add brand new fencing solutions for customers.

We also provide carpentry services, such as adding to existing summerhouses, or repairing existing outbuildings.
