Want a sugar, dairy, and additive free ice cream? Make granita (ok, not technically ice cream because it has no cream in it).

Granita is quite literally just purée frozen fruit, eaten as soon as it is made.

Take a 350g bag of frozen strawberries, leave them on the counter for about 20 minutes to soften and slightly, then purée in a food processor. sugar or honey can be added to taste, but not necessary if you have very tasty sweet strawberries. Leftovers can be frozen in ice lolly moulds.
