Latest project is an additional fence for a retuning customer, to enable her to keep the 4 (yes 4!) very lively Springer Spaniels safe from escaping on to the road. I built a bespoke one by reducing the height of the Harmony Venetian panels (to match the height of the gates), reduced height posts with 4 way cut tops (to match gate posts), all secured to the wall behind, rather than breaking the newly laid driveway to concrete into the ground
Finished off with 3 coats of Light Brown Barrettine Wood Protective treatment 👍🏻

Working outside I’m certainly getting experience in all kinds of weather. Finishing this outside painting project in the Super Hot Surrey weather today and a little throwback to the first job of the year when it was -5 degrees

Latest project, a very tricky deck build using Premium Yellow Balou Hardwood decking (which all arrived in odd sizes) and fixed with Kreg non-visible decking screws.
Lots of of thinking, measuring, cutting, adjusting & treating to get it to match the customer’s vision
Very satisfying end result 👍🏻

Been a busy couple of weeks, restoring the weather beaten window sills and frames & painting the outside of this Beautiful 1934 ‘Tarrant’ ( no relation sadly) House.
The Ultra Smooth Masonry paint has restored the outside to a lovely bright finish and has really lifted the house’s appearance

A big job following years of decay, then finally storm Eunice did for this fence. A little further afield than normal, but not a problem.

Installed 40m of new concrete posts, gravel boards and bigger panels, which raised the fence height, to give more privacy on top and better weather protection down below.
Even managed to fit in a side gate repair and garden hose fix for the customer in the fencing time frame
