When it finally stops raining our customer can enjoy their new patio properly and not just through the window! ☔️
A new larger patio was created using Raj Green Sandstone Paving with new pathways to garage and side gate. It was edged with a tumbled kerb to finish. The customer wanted a step where the lawn meets the patio to make grass cutting easier with an edge to strim along. All that’s left is for the grass seed to come through and the sun to finally make an appearance! ☀️

Returned to an existing customer who had decided it was time for a front garden revamp with a fresh modern design. They saved all the plants they wanted for replanting before the garden was cleared back to a blank canvass. The layout was changed and a meandering blocked paved path was installed along with a new lawn. Flowerbeds were prepared and topped up with fresh soil ready for re-planting.

New properties these days rarely come with drive space for more than 1 car meaning visitors have to park elsewhere or on the road.
Our customer required an extra space for parking so we made use of the small patch of lawn to the front of their property that was struggling to grow and extended the block paved path to create a larger area suitable for additional parking.

Contacted nearly 20 years ago by customers who had inherited some poorly laid paving. I cleaned, lifted, relaid and re-pointed. They lasted reasonably well but customers had now decided a fresh new look was called for. They chose Tumbled Raj Green Sandstone Paving to create a new paved area. It now looks warm, inviting and up to date. Wonder what I can lay in another 20 years time! 🤔

Some recently installed closeboard fencing for 2 existing customers. Both had fence panels that were rotten and needed replacing. Concrete posts were used along with gravel boards keeping the new panels off the ground. All that would ever need replacing in years to come would be fence panels.

Sometimes the little jobs are just as important.
A different kind of transformation to the usual landscaping for an elderly neighbour.
Drive cleared of old leaves and years of moss growth. Treatment to be applied to kill the last of the moss off. A new pergola was erected at same time to replace old one which was beyond repair.

An old customer asked us back to replace some fencing. The fence had been renewed before by another contractor but hadn’t lasted very long. So this time concrete spur posts concreted into the ground were used to attach the post and rails to. Hopefully keeping the farmers cows out but not spoiling views from the garden across the countryside.

A tired and well used family garden needed a makeover to give it a fresh modern look.
New fencing installed to one side replacing an old leaning fence.
Old paving removed and a new larger patio laid using Tumbled Grey Sandstone.
The rear of the garden was given new focus and privacy with the construction of a pergola with screening and painted black for a modern look.
New borders added and planted up with low maintenance plants and shrubs giving shape height colour and interest as they grow and fill out. W**d membrane was used to help prevent weeds and aid moisture retention.
Finally a fresh new lawn laid bringing it all together.
