Couldn’t have said it better myself. The bureaucracy of those in parliament has left this county a warehouse for the rest of the world. By the time the time the food and other produce hits the shelves it’s already weeks old and once you store it, two days later it’s compost additives
Britain was built on its fields, its farms, and the people who work them before sunrise and long after sunset.
Every meal on our tables begins with someone standing in the cold, the rain, the mud, and the uncertainty — still choosing to grow food for this country.
Maybe it’s time we stopped taking that for granted.
Supporting British farmers isn’t just about economics.
It’s about food security.
It’s about protecting rural communities.
It’s about preserving traditions, landscapes, and livelihoods that have existed for generations.
A nation that cannot feed itself becomes dependent on everyone else.
And once local farming disappears, getting it back won’t be easy.
Back the people who feed Britain. 🇬🇧🌱
