If you are married to a Tradesman
or in a relationship with a Tradesman...
You need to understand this one thing.
Your partner has litterealy one of the most physical jobs on the planet.
Thats not a joke and I'm not trying to down play any other work, all jobs take their toll but there's something different about being in the trades.
Its relentless!
You permanently work in damp, cold, dusty, dangerous environments, carrying heavy material and working almost until physical exhaustion most days.
Have you ever noticed that there's not many old Tradesman knocking around compared to different industries?
There's a reason for that.
This job litterealy takes a massive toll on your body.
So when your husband/partner comes home remember this one thing...
He is litterealy breaking himself down for you.
He is using up all of his energy to provide.
Look at his hands, are they rough and calloused?
Does he come home and fall asleep in the chair?
Does he have aches and pains that he just puts up with?
You have probably caught him from time to time just sat there staring into space.
He is just processing what has just been through that day and what he needs to go through tomorrow.
Being in the trades can be great money and a single man could happily live on the wages from just two days a week.
Any more than two days simply means he's got a purpose, a family to look after and he's trying to build something.
So if your lucky enough to have a man thats out there working late and working weekends to provide a nice life then you should be proud!
Proud that you have got a guy that will put himself through whatever it takes to bring the money home.
Proud that you've got a useful man that can actually do things with his hands and fix stuff.
Remember
A man with purpose doesn't have all day to give to you.
He's grafting hard for you, he's trying to build security and a future for you.
Don't let jobless people trick you into thinking he doesn't give you enough attention.
A real man shows love through action, he sacrifices, he gets out there and actually does something.
You either support and appreciate a busy man or babysit a broke one !
