A local business asked me to build some planters to match their existing ones. I was given a picture and the dimensions, and off I went.

I had the material delivered to home, cut everything to size and then transported the “flat pack” planters to build on site to save on mess and disruption to their business.

I throughly enjoyed this project, I’m thinking of building some for at home, by which I mean my wife has put an order in for some.

Just finished these two IKEA PAX wardrobes with mirrored sliding doors.

The customer wanted to achieve that built-in look, so I cut the skirting out to slide them back against the wall, then filled the gaps at the ends.

I think they look great and it’s been a lot of fun doing them.

Customer wanted two custom floating shelves in this alcove which also needed to be longer on one side, angled back towards the chimney breast.

I used material they already had lying around to use it up and save on cost. I then varnished them to finish.

A great use of the space to suit the customer’s needs.

A full on week last week after a lovely Easter holiday with the family!

First job of the week, helping a lovely couple tame their under stairs cupboard with some simple storage/organisation solutions. Some shelves for shoes, boots and bags plus a hanging rail for coats and jumpers turned this awkwardly shaped dumping ground into a tidy and useful space.

Second job of the week was some painting and decorating for a family who recently had some building work down but were left in the lurch come the end of the project. They were desperate to get their room finished and start enjoying it. I finished off the coving which was missing a length, prepped the whole room for decorating (walls and wood) and then on with the paint. They were very glad to finally get this finished off and start enjoying the space again … and I can see why. What a view!

I also squeezed in some time at the end of one of the days to do a little job putting up some stylish coat hooks.

No job is too small, I’m always happy to help.

Changed a single socket for a double. Also moved it higher up the wall slightly.

This job was another one where I was able to help a busy household get some overdue tasks completed.

Replaced 4 door handles and a couple of locks.

Boxed in some pipes in the downstairs toilet.

Cut and installed a loft hatch.

Installed some PVC around a window.

Fit a new p shaped bath panel.

I really enjoyed helping a busy family tick off some overdue jobs.

Replaced an internal door ✅
Put a batten up and reattached curtain pole ✅
Assembled and installed flat pack shelves ✅
Put up a couple of shelves in the kitchen ✅
