I must apologise for the delay in writing this but I needed a bit of time to recover. Wow,just wow! How fantastic was the beer festival?
I have a long list of Thank yous. Firstly to Beverley for all her hard work on creating the beer fest programme and all her work on the door and raffle.
A big thanks also to all our wonderful beer barrel sponsors and advertisers in the programme. A big thanks to Jo Robinson for the beer token sponsorship.A huge thanks to the Arden Arms for the loan of the bar,a barrel of beer and all the help and advice and support . It’s these guys that make us look so professional.
To all the village hall committee and friends and family that worked tirelessly all weekend!
To all the breweries for their continued support and to the four new ones as well! Many thanks!
A huge thanks must go to Anthony and Caroline Dunn for bringing Jacks ACE Paella and missing their usual slot on Northallerton market. I hear nothing but great comments for the Paella and proof was in the eating as two pan fulls disappeared!
Talking of food, Yorkshire Crisps,Langthornes and Thompsons pies,thank you!
A huge thanks at this point has to go to Emma Robinson and Barclays Bank for nominating us as her chosen charity and gaining us some welcome funding.

A huge thank you has to go to The Bootleggers UK, they well and truly spoilt us all on the Friday night with a three and a half hour set. Guys we definitely need you back next year. I’m proud I managed to serve you both a perfect pint of Bootlegger beer!🍻🍻
A big round of applause has to go to The Swale Valley Stompers with the Marvellous Will Hampson guesting and also tickling the ivories. Will,you are a fantastic talent!
A big thanks also to No Direction! Guys I know you weren’t happy with your sound at first but proof was in the amount of people up on the dance floor! You still raised the roof!
