Keep posting and disappearing - my bad. The algorithm gods hate me for it. I hate that I care 😂 in reality it’s been a bit quiet because of the house move, my brain being not so hot, plus slinking over to the dark side of fine art on - and the fact petrol costs nearly £1.50 a litre and a weekly food shop is skinting us all on a monthly basis. So not many folks want cakes. Or you all want cakes for the same dates so I’m booking up fast on certain weeks and not others??? 😅

Anyways, here’s a delightful set up I made for the .events wedding open day a few weeks back. Isn’t she gorgeous??? Bright, fun, sparkly, everything I want in a cake. I hope you love her. Maybe she’ll be my wedding cake? Who knows (not me) x

Don’t mind me just dropping a random cake here but it might be the cutest thing everrrrrrr??? Hand painted OG Peter Rabbit scene which just was the most lovely wholesome task. Hand painted will always take precedence over fondant models - in fact, I asked this very client if I was able to do it this way instead and I’m so so grateful she said yes and trusted me! Don’t you agree? 🥹

I made this half & half beauty and the beast cake last week for a lovely young lady turning 18. She had a specific vision with lots of detail but I wanted to make it RIGHT for her 💖 I really hope I did! What you reckon? I hope you’ve had a lovely Christmas, everyone. It was my first year in a loooong time not making Christmas Eve boxes - I’m sorry, I know it was a disappointment to many! - but I’ve been so burnt out for so long that I knew I desperately needed to not have that last min stress and instead indulge in some festive downtime with my family instead. I’m so so glad I did. It’s been LOVELY and I still have a few more days before I’m back in the kitchen 💖

Hello hi. First of all I wanna say I’m REALLY SORRY to anyone waiting for me to reply to their emails or jotforms. There’s been ✨a lot✨ going on and I’ve barely had time to sit and eat or sleep let alone approach my inboxes! I know some of you have been waiting for weeks (again I’m really sorry) but I’m going to take a deep breath and make a start this eve. I find it super overwhelming! I’m not a good business owner!!! But I make good cake???

Fortnite, Fortnite, Fortnite… the game that has captured the love, life & soul of so many people, most especially my sweet stepson! If ever I do a cake like this, I ask for his help and approval. This cake got his approval. It always makes me SO HAPPY when he tells me I’ve done a good job on -insert character whose name I still don’t know here-. Bless his lil soul. He’s fab.

Anyways, hope you had a super fun 10th birthday, Jude! And I hope you and your pals enjoyed snaffling all your fave fortnite peeps. They may have taken me hours, but I imagine it only took you mere minutes 🤣❤️
