A Home with a View, Designed with Unexpected Materials
What if your extension did more than add space? What if it became a destination?
This two storey rear extension was designed for a home with a view, so we made the most of it. Matching gable glazing frames the landscape. Bold, confident, intentional.
On the upper floor, recessed doors lead to a covered balcony. A sheltered space that can be used all year round. Morning coffee with a view. A quiet place to read. A moment of calm before the day begins.
We avoided the expected material palette. Instead, we explored:
• Gold framed windows and doors
• Buff brick
• Timber highlights
Unexpected combinations create something personal. Something memorable.
It pays to be bold. And sometimes your architect’s role is to gently push you towards braver choices. To show you materials that respond to your site in ways you may not have considered.
Think of us as your tour guide.
We will lead you through the process, open doors to new ideas, and take you to destinations you might not have discovered alone.
If you had land or a property with a view, how would you frame it?
