Acorn Windows recently stepped in to support the animal welfare charity Avalon Guinea Pig Rescue (www.avalongpr.co.uk) by installing a set of brand-new air vent windows in the charity’s “Boys Shed.”

The new blue vents not only brighten up the exterior but also help improve ventilation and comfort for the rescued guinea pigs who call the shed home. This upgrade will make a big difference in keeping the space fresh, healthy, and safe for the animals.

We wanted to say a huge 'Thank You' to the kind local businesses that have supported us this year. Their donations towards the running costs of our charity event have made a huge difference.

This year's Wollaton Park Rotary Club Free exhibition is tomorrow: Saturday 28th of October at St Leonards Community Centre in Wollaton.

We'll be open at 10am until 4pm with lots of art available to buy, homemade cakes, tea and coffee, FREE art activities for the kids (sponsored by the businesses listed above). There will also be a raffle for an original canvass by a local artist, a fantastic art set and more.

All money raised will go to Ducklings, the incredible children's charity of the QMC hospital school. Ducklings, and their Hospital School, is based at the Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham. Their aim is to provide their children and young people with opportunities and equipment to enhance life experiences for them and their families.

Ducklings has a phenomenal impact in their school community; with money raised they are able to help with the cost of purchases including: specialised equipment, iPads, tablets, musical instruments, bespoke items, short breaks for families, food, theatre visits, family days out, clothing, travel costs to and from the hospital, to name just a few.

SO.... we hope to see you there tomorrow! Saturday 28th of October at St Leonards Community Centre in Wollaton.
