Full rewire started today on this renovation project in Nottingham ⚡

Property has been stripped back ready for all new electrics throughout before the renovation continues.

New lighting, sockets, smoke alarms and consumer unit going in throughout the house.

Did a consumer unit upgrade this week and it got me thinking… 👇

A lot of people don’t actually realise how important their fuse board is until something goes wrong.

If your consumer unit is older, doesn’t have RCD protection, or hasn’t been checked in years — it could be putting your home at risk without you even knowing.

I’m seeing this more and more lately, especially in older properties.

With April coming up and people starting home improvements, it’s definitely something worth checking before adding anything new.

If you’re not sure what condition yours is in, I’m always happy to have a look or give honest advice — no pressure.
