So a full on redecoration of a clients hallway, staircase and landing. This included all woodwork on doors and frames, replacement of all switches and sockets and sand down of the staircase, prime and repaint fully, as well as a strip down and colour change of their traditional hallway radiator.

Some walls had to be replastered for a better and smoother finish and the results look brilliant👍

So this week has been quite busy with a variety of jobs fitted in between some of the larger projects I've completed and due to start work on.

I cover a wide variety of skills including, plumbing, electrics, Carpentry, decorating, repairs, essentially anything inside and out.

With a busy schedule I'm always happy to welcome invitations for work from new and existing clietns and book your jobs and projects in large or small, for the next few months ahead.

With the weather finally taking the appearance of spring it's really important everyone checks the outdoor of their properties. This particular client had 17 10L buckets of moss and soil removed from their guttering!

It's really important to keep these clear every year to help drain your roof and ensure there no standing water, as this can degrade rubber seals, create leaks and left unchecked damage Facias, soffits and ingress into the house causing damp.

Still, this case has been overted and ready for next winter or the remnants of the current wet weather. 👍😳

So the last couple of weeks have been a collection of jobs ranging from; new bath panel fitments, replacement taps indoor and out, a replacement toilet cistern.

Then, new pelmets to kitchen cupboards and a replacement to a suspended ceiling lighting and a crucial LVT replacement panel to an existing damaged one.

Recent refit completed, a whole new fitted vanity unit with high comfort toilet and sweeping integrated basin and high level mixer tap.

Newly fitted mosaic splashback tiles and whole room repaint and reseal.

Other touches include a new led light and full height radiator with theromastitc valves.

I'm really happy with this project for a long standing client. 👍

A broken cistern this week put up a challenge, but it soon gave up, particularly the coupling which after only 10 years had rusted to nothing.

So a new internal cistern and flush and new coupling allowed it to be put back in action. 👍

An emergency call out to repair a broken bath waste. The original install was poorly done and the waste snapped off the bath because of a poor fitment. With the whole panel being tiled, it was a job of cutting through carefully, installing a new waste and then refitting, regrouting and sealing back to original.

Much better 👍

This project was designed to help a clients flooding problem to her roof guttering. I installed a new downpipe as requested by the client with their direction of where they wanted the drainage to run.

At the same time I built a new pergola for them which looks proper smart. 👍
