so after a hectic few months of damaging my knee, writing a dissertation, changing jobs twice and being generally busy Bella has been re-insured and will be on the streets in the next week or so! Long time coming. Just doing the agreed valuation and regretting looking at receipts!

Then swapped this old bonnet release cable for a new one. Bloody thing was riveted in so had to take the glovebox out.

finally created a thread on thesamba which shows you really quickly all the changes Bella has had.
I haven't posted in a while as I was working and then dislocated my kneecap so I'm on crutches at the moment! Hoping to have everything finished by the end of October though so she can have a few drives out before the snow comes!

More than a decade after the last old-style Volkswagen Beetle rolled off the assembly line, people are still singing the praises of the quirky little car.

Just looking at getting an alarm system fitted. Hopefully be driving her around very soon. Still needs carpeting and run...

Trip back from the garage Monday. Holding up a Citroen for fun. Bella needs carpeting, running boards and driver door card installing and then she will be taking Andrea for a run!
