MOVE OVER EX-BEE-DIA, I've got my own BEE & BEE 🐝

Making a bee hotel doesn't have to be grand, or expensive. Hollow cuttings make fantastic refuge for bees and bugs.
Here a took some cuttings from a Leycesteria formosa (Himalayan honeysuckle) and wrapped them together with garden twine.

Our resident Good Boy and digging Apprentice Atlas has his first day on site. He took time to learn about some plants before getting stuck in. He even passed his first Local Birding Inspection with flying colours πŸ•πŸ•³πŸ¦β€β¬›πŸŒΊπŸ

It's been a hectic few months over here at the Really Wild Garden HQ.
We ended 2025 with 2 new Really Wild apprentices.

Atlas, joins the landscape crew. His talents are chewing rocks and pulling my plants out the pond. He is a super clever cuddly puppy, who can't wait to meet everyone!

Athena, our Really Wild mini me, makes up our customer service and design team. Her talents are being a super smiley girly and has just learnt some new skills of rolling over.

With spring peeking it's head just around the corner, im looking forward to getting stuck back into gardening again 😊🐝🌻

🌿Parthenocissus quinquefolia 🌿also known as "Virginia Creeper". A fast growing deciduous climber, with 5 leaves that turn an absolutely beautiful red/orange in autumn. πŸ‚πŸ

BUT, did you know this striking plant is on Schedule 9 of the UK Wildlife & Countryside Act as an invasive non-native species!!

Although it can still be sold and bought in garden centres, I would highly encourage you to buy less invasive species and alternatives!

If you do have one growing in your garden, it's important to take great care with managing it and with disposing of unwanted material. And most importantly to NOT let it escape across your garden boundaries or into the wild!!
