A timber window needs replacing so the customer purchased one
I removed the original one only to find someone had previously fitted it inside another frame that was also rotten
So I removed that one as well and temporarily fixed the new window
I have made a new lead tray up ready and will be fitting new timber packer’s and supports along with the new tray shortly

Back at my friends house and the ceiling was coated with pva then skimmed

It came off with a scrape as it was so soft and thin
Once the mesh and felt was removed the ply was seen to be soaking wet and some fell apart
Also insulation missing
Now putting cement render boards on ready for new render

Removed the loose render and vegetation from the valleys.
New bonding agent applied along with pvc bead and two coats waterproof render
When dry applied bitumen primer and layer of torch on mineral felt for long term sealed finish

New lead cover flashing installed where there wasn’t one and water was getting in the building
