Prep near enough done on this bathroom, just got to plug and screw about 8 million fixing on the boards that are stuck on, sort out the soil pipe boxing in, then hopefully get a few tiles on tomorrow 🤞🏽

After replacing the shower tray this repeat customer wanted an LVT floor fitting. Porcelain tiles were sound and solid so could be screeded over once primed correctly. Used prime and grip then rapid level 30 ready to fit the LVT first thing tomorrow morning.

Nipped back this afternoon to silicone up this bathroom I finished yesterday. 600 x 600 porcelain from so plumber can fit suite tomorrow.
Didn’t get many before/ during pictures but basically replaced some of walls with thermal boards, tanked the shower area and fixed thermal boards to floor. Customer also didn’t want the gap between the wall and end of shower tray and fancied a tiled ledge so built that with 3x2.

Love getting these screeds like glass… .uk primer and latex screed my favourite combination. Absolute minimal further prep needed if any ready to start fitting herringbone tomorrow throughout the downstairs of this new build.
On a sour note, absolutely despise having to cut and scrape out that awful silicone that they put round the bottoms of the skirting boards first…never all rosy in this trade though 😂

Another LVT boxed off this week, this time Aged Fir in a straight lay over SP101 ply. Nice and straight forward 👍🏽

herringbone LVT fitted in Blackpool for Finsbury House Flooring. More prep needed than it looks like, lot of loose floorboards and quite a few different heights so needed chiselling back and sanding before fitting the ply.

Finished this beautiful natural oak LVT in herringbone in St.Anne’s yesterday. Used 6mm ply for the floorboards then a 7mm .uk screed for the extension overlapping the ply, then a 4mm screed over all of it. The finish on all the work done in this area was done to perfection and I tip my hat to the customer who did most of it himself and was a pleasure to work for.

I’ve been slacking on here since having a shoulder injury so back keeping busy and catching up now. Did this one last week with .myles_flooring at a newish build in Leyland. Lot of prep involved grinding back and then building up height in extension with levelflex, then a second finish layer throughout. Always easier screeding with two especially in this weather! Then fitted this grey limed oak knight tile in herringbone pattern throughout hallway, w/c, utility and kitchen living area. Flooring by supplied by

Couple of walls in a bathroom I did over the last few days. Took loose plaster off back to brick and re boarded with thermal boards then tiled with gloss charcoal flat metro tiles in herringbone from height of unit going in, then opposite wall and one row at bath ends with Matt white tiles, and a nice little finishing touch by rounding off tile and bending trim to fit.

Finished off this livyn click LVT earlier today. Hallway, downstairs w/c, utility room & open plan kitchen/dining/living area. Can’t wait to see it decorated and new kitchen tops etc. Screeded with .uk and flooring supplied by
