We’re pleased to share that our extension project on Billacombe Road is nearing completion. The wall plate is now in place and the build is ready for the roofing stage.

Just a few finishing touches remain, which will be completed once the window sills are delivered.

Recent progress on a double storey extension out in Plymstock 👷🏼‍♂️ 🧱

We’ve been busy on this one, getting the blockwork up and the structure taking shape nicely. Big transformation already and plenty more to come over the next stages.

All work carried out to a high standard, keeping everything straight, level, and tidy throughout 👌

Another busy week of work
with a great transformation completed 👇

🔨 Patio door opening blocked up to new window height with a clean, secure finish
🧱 Garage door opening blocked up and replaced with a new window opening
🛢️ Groundworks carried out, including digging out and installing a solid concrete base ready for a new oil tank

Another project completed by CMA Bricklayer ✔️

On this job the original timber fence had completely rotted as it had been acting as a retaining structure for the garden behind it. Unfortunately fences aren’t designed to hold back soil long-term, so it had started to fail.

Our work included:

• Removing and disposing of the old rotten fence• Excavating along the full wall line• digging out and Installing a new concrete footing for proper support• Building a solid retaining wall to safely hold back the garden• Finishing the project by building garden walls to match the existing Devonscape stone walling

The new wall now properly retains the garden and blends in perfectly with the surrounding Devonscape stone boundary walls, giving the property a much stronger and more attractive finish.
