We've been a little quiet on social media lately (plus I keep forgetting to take pictures 🤦)
But check out some of the reviews our amazing customers have left, and some of the jobs I did remember to photograph.

We may have been quiet on socials this year, but what a busy year it has been! Take a look at the last big project before the Christmas break 😍🤩

We had the pleasure to be asked to carry out a bathroom modernisation for an absolutely lovely family. We assisted them with picking out items and designing the layout before we started.

The usual removal of items unfortunately revealed alot of wall and floor damage with excessive black mold as well. So we removed the partition wall and completely re built the lot (and also organised for the plaster works to be done)

We are so happy with the transformation with this one! We installed the latest line from MyLife Bathrooms supplied by Plumbase Plymouth. The tiles and wet room tray was supplied by Clay & Rock Ltd Original Style and they are perfect, especially the antislip tiles in the tray.

We want to wish everyone following us and also all of our customers new and old a Merry Christmas and We hope you all have a great new year.

**Before and after pictures of our latest project**

This one was small and mighty, but love the end result. We started by removing all of the bathroom furniture and tiles. Unfortunately we found the plaster and prep work behind to be in a poor state from the previous tiles being installed incorrectly. So we installed insulated tiles backer board to give us a suitable, flat and sound surface to lay our new tiles on.

After fitting the new 1800mm bath to remove the end shelf we did some investigation work and managed to re route the heating pipes and tidy up all the other pipework so that the bare minimum was on show, including the complete renewal of the outside cast iron soil pipe to a new and leak free plastic soil.

With some new electrics installed for a feature wall light and some fresh plaster on the ceiling, we got to work on fitting some of Clay & Rock Ltd 's new range of tiles (the pictures do not do them justice unfortunately, the floor tiles have a blue undertone and they look great in this smaller setting)

With all the tiles fitted, grouted and cleaned up, the next job was to fit the new vanity units from RGB Building Supplies and it fitted in perfectly! One short visit left to fit the missing plinth and this bathroom is done 👌

Our most recent project 🤩

The other week we finished off this complete bathroom renovation, from floor to ceiling! We renewed all the plumbing, floors, ceiling and walls (including the additional boxing to house the wall hung toilet frame)

Uni-Lec supplied and fitted a new in line multi point extraction unit that provides ventilation from both bathrooms, and also installed the under sink/bath LED colour change light strip and spot lights.

Original Style Clay & Rock Ltd supplied the amazing quality vanity sink unit, free standing bath and tap, along with the tiles (absolutely love these, they seem to change colour and pattern during the day)

And finally Plumbstop Plymouth supplied the impressive natural slate shower tray, screen, towel rail and toilet pan.

We are so glad we managed to squeeze in a last minute booking to help a valued customer in bad times.

We read the devastating news that Donna's salon on Mutley was unfortunately effected due to the recent crazy weather and was not fit to work in. She informed us that a new salon had been found but needed a little bit of modernising to adapt to her very busy needs.

After meeting at the new salon and Donna explaining her vision we supplied and installed a 90 litre mains unvented cylinder as the property did not have hot water, we re piped the hair wash chairs into this system eliminating the old and tired electric shower feeding them. Making a new and smaller boxing to cover and hide the pipes, finished with some lvt click flooring. This also included running a new hot feed to the kitchen sink and basin. And to put the cherry on top we built this amazing new pedicure area for her totally from scratch, With two new basins and taps, finished off with some lvt click flooring 😍

Before and after of our recent mini project.

After this customer noticed some signs of water leaks in the ceiling below and the room next to his bathroom he gave us a call to investigate. After a few checks we found that the grout was failing and the enclosure had not been installed correctly resulting in water tracking behind the tiles every time they shower.

We removed the shower tray, the old tiles and discovered badly installed dot and dab plaster board behind. So we removed this and installed new 12mm insulated tile board giving us a strong and waterproof surface to tile on.

We fitted these 1200 x 600 tiles from Original Style and fitted a new shower, tray and screen from Plumbstop Plymouth

Just some minor decorating work left to complete and this one is as good as new (but better 😁)

💚💚 Loving the colours lately 🩷🩷

Its never great when you get asked to price a large bathroom and find out the customer also has a leaking shower room 😩

After a little investigation we found the grout on the tiles in the shower area had failed due to cracking and poor installation, this resulted in the board behind rotting making it impossible to repair. After some discussion the customer decided it was best to remodel this shower room sooner than later giving the family somewhere to shower whilst the main bathroom is done.

We built a new wall behind the shower allowing us to install a good size shower tray and so that we can fit the screen correctly (due to the shape of the room) We then fitted the herringbone pattern shower boards and the oak effect tiles from Original Style

Plumbstop Plymouth supplied the beautiful fittings from MyLife Bathrooms (just look at that vanity unit 😍) all finished off with some new paint, double tooth brush wall charger and a shadow light wall mirror.

Our most recent bathroom refurbishment 🤩 we completely started again with this one. We swapped the wardrobe and bathroom position at the clients request, so that involved all new plumbing, walls and floors. After the new plumbing was installed we built a false wall to house the shower valve and toilet cistern, and then fitted these gorgeous new sage green tiles and they really complement the gold/brass fixtures. Massive thank you to Ryan Mann our apprentice for staying with me last night (11pm finish to get this one done) but the result 🥰 was worth it
