It's been a busy couple of weeks here at RTEK headquarters , helping people with shrubs, garden tidies and tree maintenance! Here's a few highlights (the camera didn't like the 🌧!)

It's nice to have a variety of trees and smaller garden jobs like weeding, tidying, and shaping.

With winter ❄️ 🍂 kicking in, it's a good time to think about having your hedges, trees, and bushes trimmed before the leaves start falling, and wetter weather comes. Give me a shout!

Today's challenge! Whilst Ivy can be pretty, it is also very hardy and invasive. This beast had started to encroach into the neighbours garden, so we took it out at the root!

Its been a hunky-door'ey kinda week! 😅🚪

I replaced some door furniture for a customer that wanted 🗝 locks and bathroom locks. I think I 'handled it' well.

And...

Then I 'stepped' up my game replacing a rotten door threshold at a tenancy property.

If you're still not chuckling... whilst I was doing these jobs I got thinking. 🤔. Doors should take their decisions very carefully. A lot hinges on it!

One of this week's jobs, fixing a customer's fence and making the garden secure again.

We both agreed we could re-use the panels, which is more sustainable for the environment 🌏 and kinder on the purse 💰!

As with a lot of newer build gardens, the fence posts were directly placed in the ground, which left them open to rot. Now, they've been raised in metposts, which should last the customer a long time and allow new panels to be attached when needed.
