It’s been over a year since we decommissioned the plant room on one of our projects on Panorama Road in Sandbanks. Now that architectural changes have been made, the plumbing is officially underway. This will be a lengthly project with the interior design being of an extremely high specification. Southshore H&P is extremely flattered to be continually entrusted with such projects and will as ever deliver a plumbing and heating system to the highest of standards.

Plumbing works has begun on our latest project on Felton Road, Poole. This economical new home will utilise an air source heat pump with underfloor heating throughout.

We’ve just installed our third DAB Esybox boosted water system. These always deliver amazing results. They give you the ability to run multiple showers whilst still maintaining fantastic working water pressure. This one was a lovely fit too.

Today we completed all plumbing works for on our project The Aviators in Crossways which consisted of 16 houses.

Originally the site was used as an RAF air base during WW2. The new road name Devitt Drive was named after pilot Peter Devitt. In February 1940, Devitt was given command of 152 Hyderabad (Spitfire) Squadron. 152 Squadron was based at this very site and was responsible throughout the Battle of Britain for defending the southern England sector.

On the open grass area there is a concrete weight at around 1.5 tons. There were dozens of them scattered around the site. Residents in the area informed us that they were used to hold down spitfires during live firing exercises and bad weather. A simple memento of the past.

Today we were awarded our biggest contract since Southshore started up just over 7 years ago.

We’re looking to start phase 1 of the project just after Christmas. This consists of x18, 3-4 bedroom houses.

Phase 2 of the project will bring the total number of houses to 39 with the addition of 10 flats and a large commercial unit.

We’re absolutely thrilled to be given an opportunity like this and can’t wait to get started.

Our MVHR system is coming along nicely on our project in Canford Cliffs for Glossbrooks.

We're excited to be starting work on this fabulous looking eco home in the summer. Our package includes a full MVHR system as well as a Daikin LT Hydro-Split air source heating system. Ooh la la!
