A good days work 💪🏻💪🏻🪏🪏

We removed the rotten wood from the raised beds, they’ve served their purpose well but it’s time for a change.

The plants our client wanted to keep were put to one side and we measured up for new thick sleepers.

Lunch on the move as we went off to collect the sleepers.

Existing soil weeded and levelled with the plants placed to allow space for them to flower without being crowded.

Hopefully they’ll be some more planting coming to fill the space a little better.

This little garden is now prepped and ready for plants in a few weeks.

New Kitchen floor going down, mold abated, electrics started. Paint incoming.

We end the week with the sodden kitchen floor layers stripped back to the solid subfloor and dehumidifier in to begin the drying process.

Now we wait for the plumber to install new feeds so we can finally turn the water back on and start the cleaning process to prepare for decorating.

The week continues with assembly of the new kitchen cabinets while we await a decision on remedying the rather soggy floor.

Winter is always a bit of a struggle, but this year it seems worse than before, just keeping our household running is becoming so expensive - the joys of not owning our own home.

Our last landscaping job of 2025.

This garden is an on going project, chipping away a piece at a time.

We’ve already completed a path around the home office.

This week we put the front gate back after the builders had to remove it for access, and then replaced a very rotten section of the rear fence.

In 2026 we’re going back for patios, raised beds, lawns, and more.

How this week is going so far. Also, please NEVER plant running Bamboo in your residential garden unless you’ve hundreds of acres and can employ Pandas.
