Another inherited and abandoned install, where slinging all the kit in a cupboard and hoping for the best was apparently ok. When we install either AV or CCTV systems for clients, there are very good reasons we do so properly and professionally. Neat, tidy, labelled cables don't just look more aesthetically pleasing. They also equate to a safer environment. Not to mention ongoing maintenance. If you don't know where each and every cable goes, and what is at the other end of it, how can you, your client, or any future collaborators possibly maintain, fix, or add to a setup? Go the extra mile, do things properly. If you can't, call us. We'll happily do it for you.
