We have been quiet on social media for a while, but here are some pictures of an extensive kitchen refurbishment we have recently completed.
The original vinyl wrapped kitchen was completely delaminating and replaced with this stunning sage coloured painted Shaker kitchen along with beautiful quartz worktops, clever storage elements, bespoke joinery, Karndean flooring and complete redecoration.
We also replaced all ceilings, replastered the walls and carried out extensive plumbing, heating and electrical works.

We have just completed the construction and installation of this complete new en-suite bathroom created from scratch in a large bedroom, all to Building Regulations approval.
Once again our team have produced a first class job which our client is delighted with.

“Richard and his team recently installed an en-suite in one of the bedrooms in my house. The team of Joe and Tom were amazing. Not only did they turn up on time every morning and work consistently through the day, they were tidy and cleaned up after themselves every afternoon, putting down dust sheets when they arrived and even vacuuming the hall, stairs and landing every day! I was consulted every time a decision had to be made, even to the exact positioning of the vanity unit, electric shower and extractor fan.
Having had other building work done in the past and suffered delays in getting in different trades, Richard’s electrician and plumber were there when he needed them so work wasn’t held up.
The contact between Richard and the architect he works with (Greg Farrell) was good.

From previous experience we suspected that this would reveal structural problems. From the beginning Richard worked with us, listened to our concerns and provided detailed quotes. It’s been some time since our last post, but we have been very busy completing some very nice projects for new and repeat clients.

Burghfield Common kitchen.

Extensive refurbishment with new ceiling, complete replastering, Karndean flooring, electrics, heating, plumbing, carpentry and a purpose made cottage door and the installation of this stunning Shaker kitchen in Cardamon Green with quartz worktops.

“We recently had a new kitchen fitted by RS Aston Builders. We were anxious about having such a big job done as there always seems to be some issues with the house! However, Richard, Joe and Tom were so professional, and nothing seemed to be a problem. Richard spent a long time going through all the options with us when we were designing and choosing our kitchen. He was always quick with responses if I emailed him any queries and gave such great advice when we were considering options. The quote that Richard sent me was very detailed which was great to see and make any changes required.
When the work started Richard, Joe and Tom were so considerate of our working from home. There were some issues with the house along the way, but Richard made me feel confident in their work and they sorted any problems out seamlessly. At the end of each day they cleared, cleaned and tidied the area in which they were working. Richard sent interim, detailed invoices along the way which we really appreciated.
The detail to the work that they have carried out is amazing. We are so pleased with our kitchen – it’s the best room in the house now! As well as being so professional, Richard, Joe and Tom are so friendly – I’ll miss them!
