We are still open for business. After the new lockdown rules came in we did stop working for a day whilst we took advice to see if it was ok for us to do so. After taking advice from many sources including people who work for the local MP it has become clear that it is fine for us to continue working with the safety procedures in place that we had already implemented prior to this lockdown.
Our safety procedures are as follows:
1. We work individually at all times with no contact with other gardeners at any time. As such only jobs that can be completed by one gardener are being taken on.
2. We are only covering jobs in the redcar area.
3. Gloves are put on before coming into your property and left on until we leave.
4. Gates must be left unlocked and propped open. If you can not prop open the gate then we ask you not to touch the handles or open the gate for 72 hours after we leave.
5. Green bins should be left open. If you can not do this we ask you do not touch the green bin for 72 hours after we leave.
6. We can arrange your gardening needs over the phone either before attending or whist we are in the garden to ensure zero contact.
7. Payments can be made via bank transfer. Where this is not possible cash can be left at a pre arranged point in the garden such as under a plant pot. Again we would ask you not to touch the plant pot or other item for 72 hours after we leave.
8. If paying by cash and do not want to pay until you have checked the work we will happily leave and come back at a later pre arranged time to collect the money from the arranged place in your garden.
9. If you require an invoice or receipt for the council's gardening help scheme we can email these to you. If the customer does not have email we can keep these to be provided once the coronavirus is no longer an issue or we can leave it in your garden wrapped in a plastic bag, under a plant pot for example, for you to pick up again which you should do 72 hours after it is put there.I
