Used across fibreglass, previously glossed soffits, and a powder-coated metal frame, then tinted to to make topcoat coverage even easier. 👌
Finished with two coats of Dulux Trade Weathershield Exterior Satin for a durable exterior finish.

Timber Repair Rather Than Replacement

A phone cable had been routed directly through this window sill, allowing water ingress which led to decay in the surrounding timber.

The cable was relocated, all failed paint removed using a grinder, and the decayed timber carefully cut back with a die grinder. The exposed timber was then treated with Repair Care Dry Fix before being rebuilt with Repair Care Dry Flex 4.

Rotten timber doesn’t always mean replacement. 🔨

This 100-year-old door frame had a small area of decay along with an old doorbell hole that needed repairing.

I started by sanding back the surrounding paint before using a die grinder to remove all the rotten timber. I then made a timber plug to fill the old doorbell hole, primed the repair with Dry Fix, inserted the plug, and rebuilt the area using Dry Flex 4.

A small repair, but one that helps preserve the original character of this beautiful old property for years to come.
