Planning Approved ✅

We’re excited to share that planning has now been granted for this fantastic project in Avon Castle, Ringwood. A massive thank you to the AG Design team and everyone that helped get this project approved!

Working closely with the planning officers and ecologists, the design evolved to carefully respond to its sensitive setting alongside the Green Belt. The result is a scheme that balances a bold, contemporary transformation with a form and material palette that sits comfortably within its surroundings.

The proposal will transform the existing bungalow into a high-quality, luxury home, complete with generous open-plan living spaces, strong connections to the garden, and carefully framed views throughout.

The client is delighted with the outcome, and we’re now looking forward to working alongside them to bring this project to life on site.

Ashley Cross, Poole – Planning Approved & Ready for Delivery ✨

A fantastic project close to the heart of Ashley Cross where we secured planning approval for the full remodelling and extension of this property.

The scheme focuses on clean, contemporary design with a strong connection between indoor and outdoor spaces, maximising both form and function.

Following planning approval, we delivered a comprehensive Building Regulations and construction drawing package, alongside detailed 3D visuals to bring the vision to life and support the main contractor on site.

The client is delighted with the outcome, and we’re excited to see this one progress on site.

Planning Approved at another one of our projects in Avon Castle, Ringwood!

Our design proposes a highly contemporary two-storey extension that creates a striking contrast to the existing dwelling, using a steel-frame structure wrapped in glazing and modern cladding panels. The new addition will form a spacious open-plan kitchen and living area with a dramatic double-height ceiling, bringing a sense of volume and natural light into the heart of the home.

On the upper floor, we’ve planned two large bedrooms, while the existing bungalow layout will be fully reconfigured to suit the new arrangement – ensuring the design feels cohesive, functional and future-ready.

Thrilled to share that one of our full bungalow extension and renovation projects in the heart of Ringwood has just been approved at Planning!

This contemporary-meets-cottage scheme will transform the property into an elegant four-bedroom home, and our clients are excited to move toward the build stage.

Designed with large glazed openings framing the beautiful rear farmland, the open-plan living space flows seamlessly out to the garden and patio through wide bifold doors. The combination of crisp white render and vertical composite timber cladding helps the home blend naturally into its rural surroundings, creating a clean, timeless aesthetic.

A huge thank-you to our amazing clients, they’ve been fantastic to work with. Clear communication and a collaborative approach made this project a pleasure from start to finish.

A great site visit to a recently complete project in St Ives this week!

Our design transformed a tired bungalow into a contemporary chalet-style home with a completely reimagined front elevation and a new two-storey rear extension. Inside, the open-plan kitchen–dining space steps down into the lounge to work with the natural ground levels, with large bifolds bringing in plenty of light.

We’ve added new first-floor bedrooms and a generous master suite with good head height and a modern, hotel-style en-suite - all designed to bring this home up to a contemporary standard while maximising space and comfort.

AG Design has been busy collaborating with clients and local partners on a range of residential schemes across Hampshire and Dorset.

This latest proposal in the heart of Poole showcases a three storey new build scheme offering three contemporary flats.
Alongside full design coordination, our team also produced the in-house CGI imagery to support the marketing of the development.

We’re excited to see this scheme progress into planning.

Following up on our previous post for Marchwood Green Farm, here’s a closer look at the CGI of the proposed single-storey rear extension.

The design continues to respect the Grade II listed heritage with matching brickwork and stone detailing, while contemporary slimline windows create a light-filled living space, seamlessly connecting the home to its garden.
