We have received notice from the Parish Council that the land owner of our little site does not wish to renew the lease next year. Sadly it means an end to Widdington Allotments.

Thank you to everyone who has supported WAGS over the years as plot holders and at our fund raising plant sales, BBQs and open days.

It has been lovely to be part of this little community over the last 15 year.

It looks like the allotments escaped storm Eunice relatively unscathed. Robin has lost a pane of glass from his greenhouse (we bagged it up and took it home to put in the bin), someone's free range compost bin has been wedged over by the water trough and did we only have 3 chairs round the table? Be careful approaching the plot as Rita's tree is leaning. More winds to come but not as intense as Eunice.
