No water for an entire factory today all because of one skipped step by another contractor.

We got called out to a major commercial emergency today. An entire factory and its connected offices were left completely without water.

Another company had been on site to install a septic tank and needed to relocate part of the main water supply. The big problem? They failed to flush the new pipework before turning the system back on.

This simple mistake forced rocks, dirt, and thick muddy water straight into the building's plumbing. You can see the size of the debris blocking the copper pipe and the state of the water we were pulling out in the photos.

Our team spent the day tracking down every blockage. From getting high up in the forklift man cage to squeezing behind industrial compressors, we stripped down and cleaned out the debris from every single toilet, tap, urinal, and even the heavy duty on site jet wash.

Cutting corners on a job can cause massive downtime for a business. We made sure the entire system was properly flushed and the water was running clear again.

If you've driven past this building recently and wondered what's going on inside, you're not alone! It looks like a building site because, well, it is.

Our very own Billy Billy is seen here up high on the scissor lift. Following the major strip-out phase, he is carefully removing the old overhead pipework from the high concrete ceiling of this commercial unit.

It’s heavy work that looks simple from the ground, but taking down outdated plumbing safely is a crucial first step. We’re working with the developers here to clear the space completely, giving them a clean slate before the modern systems go in.
