A few signs you might be heading for burnout & things I'll be doing to help prevent it 👇🏼
✨️ The lights, noises, smells, fabrics and food doesn't feel the same. It feels like an attack on all senses
✨️ Small comments feel like a personal attack
✨️ Small tasks become so overwhelming, nothing gets done
✨️ Anxiety sets in
✨️ You want to run away and hide
Things you can do, that have helped me 👇🏼
✨️ Take a step back, take a breath & slow down
✨️ Get a massive whiteboard so you can write a weekly schedule down for everyone
✨️ Tell the people you love how you are feeling, so they are aware. Take the support (it's hard but needed)
✨️ Create a safe routine for all
Last year was my 3rd burnout (I've been aware of) that literally stopped me in my tracks & I was paralysed.
The older I have got the more I realise. I keep comparing myself to others around me. Not in real life but on social media. I have & never will be able to keep up with what the algorithm says we "should" be doing. Thats why I dissappear & come back. But who cares!?
I thought it was helping my business, but I don't think it was.
There are some extremely exciting things happening in real life & will share when I can.
My main priority now is building myself back up so I can continue to make my boys proud 💚
If you made it this far. Thank you!!! X
What do you do to avoid burnout?
sucks
Can you believe I've hoarded my piano book since I was 6 😅
