We’re hiring! Border Safeguard Ltd is looking for Service Engineers to join our dedicated service team.
As a long-established company, we specialise in maintaining electronic security and fire detection systems across commercial, residential and public sector properties. If you’re passionate about delivering excellent service and solving technical issues, this opportunity is for you.
Your Role and Duties:
• Service and maintain Intruder Alarms, Fire Alarms, CCTV, Access Control and Nurse Call Systems
• Perform fault finding and repairs on a wide range of systems
• Provide professional and efficient service across various property types
• Be on standby for emergency call-outs when required
• Be willing to work out-of-hours if required

What We’re Looking For:
• A minimum of 2 years of electrical/electronic engineering experience (working knowledge of security and fire detection systems is beneficial, but training will be provided for the right candidate)
• Strong communication skills
•Good problem-solving Skills
• A full UK driving licence
• The ability to think quickly, stay calm under pressure, and solve problems effectively
• A personable attitude and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
• A desire to maintain high standards of workmanship and present a professional image
• Willingness to work outside regular hours if necessary
•Customer Service Focused
Job Details:
• 40 hours per week
•Overtime available plus Standby Rota duties
• Wage dependent on experience and knowledge
• Immediate start available
