Nice job while the sun shines ✨️ 🌞

This single skin wall was leaning dangerously.
So had to be taken down.
We erected a new Six Foot fence that slopes down to Four foot.
Really enjoyed doing this, plus the feed back from the tenants how happy they are and looking forward to spending time in their garden this summer.

Now onto the next wall and fence 1 door down 😆

Before and after photos in this studio bedsit flat.

Again, Dot and Dab plasterboard failing.
Letting the moisture soak through due to the walls being so cold.

Complete strip out back to the bare walls.
25x50 timber batons fixed with DPC on the backs.
25mm Celotex insulation boards, plasterboard and plasterd to a nice smooth finish.

3 coats of Anti mould on the walls and ceiling.
This will be alot warmer, with no more mould issues.
The tenants are excited to move back in!

New hand made gate, new post and part fence panel fitted.

The old gate I helped my dad build when I worked with him almost 20 years ago!
And 20 years later everything I know now was because of my Dad! 💪
One happy Tenant again, one happy Lee...I'm keeping the old gate 😆

So this is what can happen when you use the wrong plasterboard around baths and showers 🚿 🤔 🙄
Personally, I hate Dot and Dab, only any good for new builds.

Plasterboard stripped back to the bare walls, timber batons fixed with DPC on the backs.
Green moisture resistant plasterboard used and sealed.
Then 250mm decorative splash backs fitted.
Using a high quality adhesive, and sealing the Tongue and groves.
Looking nice and fresh, with no movement to the walls anymore.
Very happy tenants, and very happy estate agent.
