Stripped right back, timber batons fixed, ThermaLine plasterboard installed and jointed, walls skimmed and finally painted to give this wall a brand new finish.

With cracked glass panes and tired masonry, this flat just off Munster Road was crying out for a bit of JOAT attention.

Over three days, we refreshed the white brickwork, stripped the door back, re-glazed the two damaged panes and finished everything with several coats of paint - including the front hallway, which always takes the brunt of daily wear.

All set and ready to go for the next few years.

A great week on site for this soon to be café in Putney.

The team got stuck into clearing out the interior of the property, formerly a laundromat, preparing the space for its transformation.

It was all hands on deck to remove the suspended ceiling, strip back the electrics, take down the wall panelling, and dismantle the plasterboard bulkhead around the doorway.

With the space now fully cleared, the renovation is ready to begin.
