A site visit this morning in Honley for a B.N.Joinery renovation project, with Artwood Interiors selected to design and supply the new kitchen.

Just day two of the renovation, and demolition is already well underway. Ben and his team are busy transforming the space, removing internal walls, the chimney breast, and everything else needed to completely open up the layout.

What was once a small, enclosed kitchen will soon become one large, open-plan living space. This is set to be a huge transformation, and we’re excited to see it take shape over the coming weeks.

A recent timber shaker kitchen Artwood Interiors supplied for a lovely couple in Cleckheaton and what a transformation it’s been.

This beautiful 1920s property hadn’t been updated for many years, but it still had some incredible original character features throughout the home. You really need to see the before photos of the kitchen to appreciate the difference.

The clients are gradually restoring the entire house, and they’re doing an amazing job bringing it back to life while keeping its charm and character intact.

The photos hardly do it justice, but the natural granite worktop looks absolutely stunning in person. Paired with the timber shaker doors in our Chalkstone finish and the range cooker, the whole space feels warm, timeless, and full of character.

Another beautiful project completed this week by Artwood Interiors

This kitchen was designed for a lovely local couple who purchased their Grade II listed property a few years ago. We completely reworked the original layout, turning the kitchen around to bring the seating area closer to the window, making the most of those stunning views.

The cabinetry features a slim timber shaker door in a porcelain painted finish, paired beautifully with a bespoke seating area complete with T&G back panels to complement the kitchen end panels.

One of our favourite features has to be the stunning pantry/larder unit, complete with LED strip lighting on door sensors , creating the perfect coffee and microwave station!

The 30mm leathered quartz worktop adds a beautiful matt texture and works perfectly alongside the double Belfast sink.

A huge thank you again to Ben B.N.Joinery for his fantastic work project managing and installing this project for Artwood Interiors. Along with his team of electricians, plumbers and plasterers, everything came together seamlessly.

The seating area especially came together beautifully after lots of discussions, planning and calculations between us all!

Another local project completed for a lovely couple in Slawit.

This kitchen transformation was all about modernizing a dated space while still keeping a classic feel to suit the property.

The clients chose extra-tall units in bespoke Farrow & Ball colours — School House White for the main kitchen, paired beautifully with Preference Red on the island, finished with brushed brass handles. This was complemented with a sleek 20mm quartz worktop.

We also supplied and installed Caple appliances, including a single oven, combination microwave, and a large warming drawer combining style with everyday practicality.

One of the standout features is the island, where we matched its radius perfectly to the curve of the bay window, creating a stunning focal point and the perfect place to sit and take in views of the reservoir.

A major part of this transformation was removing a large supporting wall to open up the space into a bright and spacious kitchen diner, completely changing how the room feels and functions.

A huge thank you to Ben B.N.Joinery once again for an excellent job on the building and installation. It really does make a difference having the right team in place.

And of course, thanks to everyone involved from electricians and plumbers to plasterers and to our clients for their patience throughout the process.
