The redevelopment of the house at Prospect Lane continues on site despite the very cold weather. The roof is on , and once the scaffold can come down the windows will be in. Externally the plywood will get its Zinc finish and then the work will concentrate on the interior.

Planning approval for this house extension developed by CoARC in Belbroughton was received last year. The house is situated in the Belbroughton Conservation Area, which is an area covered by Green Belt restrictions as well.

Charred timber cladding, and black brick with white render, give a new look to this brown brick 1970s house. recently receiving planning permission the project is now being detailed ready for site. The white and black materials tie the house into the half timbered Edwardian detailing of the neighbouring buildings on the street.

We were pleased to receive approval from Bromsgrove and Redditch planners today for this single storey extension to a late C20 detached house in Astwood Bank near Redditch. The design for this project has been developed by CoARC.

The proposal is to reorganise the back of the house to create a garden and west facing aspect for an extended kitchen, dining and living room.
