I was asked to do some repairs recently to a pedestrian apple harvester for The Parrett cider company. The engine has been replaced with a new one as the old 1 had numerous issues, bearings and rollers have been replaced on the pickup radels then finally it was decided that the gearbox input shaft should be looked at but unfortunately parts for this gearbox are very hard to come by so it was decided to change the whole thing with a new axel and gearbox. I have sourced a hydrostatic axle from a ride on mower and made this fit. This has now made the harvester ready to collect apples to make this year's cider!!

Yesterday and this morning was a family kinda day, my gran wanted to make her garden easier to manage, so I have created a raised bed that can be weeded and maintained without to much bending over. I dug out most of the old plants and replanted them in the new bed, they have 2 choices🤣🤣

Today a loyal customer messaged saying they were out with their horsebox and a wheel bearing had failed could I fix it ASAP, Parts were sourced and I made my way to Wellington to find said horsebox. On arrival I found out that the wheel bearing had totally failed and all that was holding the wheel on was plenty of luck. Within 40 mins the hub was replaced and they were back on the road.🐴🐴

So the last week we have been busy installing a new cattle grid, gateway and concrete for Thorney Lakes, the new cattle grid includes a drain to help oliviate water from running down through the site, it also has a built in hedgehog ramp so they can escape should they fall in🦔.
