Brand new staircase install in Billericay, Essex ‼️‼️‼️

The team thoroughly enjoyed this one from start to finish. The new staircase has completely changed the hallway and given the owners a better and safer way of getting upstairs. All that’s left is to plaster and paint.

Looking forward to returning to build some under-stair storage and potentially some bespoke baby gates!!!

Media unit completed ✅

The team did a great job this weekend in finishing this 4.5m long media unit. Clients are very happy and are excited to get it sprayed and LED’s installed ASAP!!!

This weekend the team was in Stanford-le-hope, framing out for this 4.5m long media unit.

This unit will have LED lights in all shelves and will have a shaker style design to the bottom pannels and cupboards, matching the kitchen.

We have pulled off to allow the sparky to pull his cables and 2nd fix his sockets, ready for us to finish this weekend.

12 new Holdenby Oak doors installed this weekend to a property in South Woodham Ferres.

We thoroughly enjoyed this project. The new oak doors have made this house feel warmer and homely. The anitque brass ironmongery looks amazing with these doors, we are very excited to see how they turn out once stained!!!

Final job of 2025‼️‼️‼️

Bespoke wardrobe built above in an alcove in the spare bedroom of a house in benfleet. This wasn’t as straight forward as we thought, houses built in the 1960’s aren’t always as level as they seem 😂. However the team did well at getting the wardrobe level and true.

I’m incredibly grateful for the year we’ve had at JW Carpentry. We’ve been involved in some really fun and challenging projects this year and I hope 2026 will only bring bigger and better!

Big thank you to Infinity decorators for the continued support and work through you the last year. I look forward to seeing what next year brings.

Another big thank you to Boden Fernie for your assistance during this last year. It’s been a pleasure to work alongside you.

For a Carpenter, doors are your bread and butter. At JW Carpentry we love a good door installation. Returning to a previous job, these lovely oak doors were installed on the top floor, matching the ground floor doors we did back in September.

Over the month of October, JW Carpentry has been constructing a brand new garden room office with a shed space on the end in Thundersly, Essex.

This has been the most enjoyable project we have been able to be a part of. The client not only asked us to build the garden room, but asked for us to design it from scratch. We are incredibly pleased with the outcome, as is the client.

4 new doors installed to a property in Rochford, Essex. ‼️‼️‼️

These oak doors make the downstairs area more cosy and will help to keep the rooms insulated during the winter months, with the black ironmongery is perfect contrast for the light oak doors.

We’re looking forward to returning soon to install new oak doors upstairs also.

Fun little job completed today in Hadleigh.

We removed the old decorative panels in the bay window storage seat and replaced with blank MDF ones. We also removed the alcove cupboard doors and replaced with a bespoke, modern style shaker door. We also installed new brass butterfly hinges and k***s to match the rest of the property.

Hopfully we’ll be back soon to install some new acoustic wall panneling up on the top floor‼️‼️
