🌙 Every night we have the cutest garden visitor!

This beautiful hedgehog has been coming to our garden regularly. These spiky little heroes are amazing for natural pest control — they love eating slugs, snails and beetles!

We’ve been leaving out a shallow dish of fresh water for him.

Have you ever had a hedgehog visit your garden?
What name would you give ours? Drop your suggestions below! 👇🦔

One-year update on our strawberry experiment is finally here! 🪣🍓

Smiley buckets side-by-side: worm castings in one, home-made compost in the other.
After a full year we can honestly say both came through winter beautifully and the plants are looking strong again this spring.
The biggest surprise? One held moisture way better during last summer’s heat… but the other actually gave us slightly more fruit!
Want the full honest results + taste test? Watch the complete video on our YouTube channel (link in comments)
Let us know in the comments: worm castings, compost, or both for your strawberries?
Happy growing everyone! 🌱

🌿Kid-friendly Romanesco pasta bake straight from the garden!

We boiled the pasta, mixed it with cream for that silky texture, added chopped fresh Romanesco florets and juicy tomatoes from our garden, then baked it at 180°C for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden. On the side, a simple air-fried salmon fillet keeps it balanced and protein-packed — perfect for little ones who usually turn their nose up at greens!
The mild, nutty flavour of Romanesco hides the veggies beautifully, making this a sneaky healthy win for the whole family.

Would you try this pasta bake?

Drop a comment and let us know how it turns out! 👇

We're back! 🎉 After full-time jobs, traveling, and secretly building something huge in Greece, we finally sat down to share 3 almost FREE ways to get your garden winter-ready—even on a tiny balcony or tight budget.

🥚 Start seeds in egg cartons or toilet rolls
♻️ Free compost from kitchen scraps & cardboard
🪱 DIY worm farm from scrap wood

Gardening isn't just about cheap food—it's therapy, resilience, and quiet connection to nature.

Oh, and we just got back from our family olive harvest in Greece, where we're filming a little soil experiment with local waste materials. More on that soon! 👀🫒

Thanks for following our journey. Drop a 💚 if gardening brings YOU peace too!

🌳A little reminder from our small family garden:
Put your hands in soil (or gently trim a bonsai) for half a minute and feel the day get lighter.

🌞It’s not woo-woo — soil bacteria actually reduce anxiety.☘️

Try it now and let me know if it works for you too!🪴☀️

🌿From everyday grass to edible magic… 🌿

This was our own backyard when we first moved in – just a classic UK lawn and a bit of patio.
One weekend, we thought what if ❓❗️🙉raised beds, gravel paths, and herbs we actually eat.
🛎No fancy budget, just a plan and a bit of elbow grease. 🏃‍♀️

Before: plain, functional, forgotten corners
After: low-maintenance, food-growing, somewhere we actually want to sit!

If you’ve got a “meh” garden and a dream of fresh basil on your pizza… this one’s for you.

(P.S. Follow our journey on Artisan Epic Garden link in bio if you’re curious!)

He says he’s “just checking for ripeness.” I say we’ll never know how big our cucumber harvest could’ve been. 😅🥒

Welcome to chaos—where cucumbers vanish off the vine and into someone’s mouth before they even hit the salad bowl (or the camera). 📸😂

This is our take on the “Nobody Cares About Your Harvest” trend—gardening with a hungry partner comes with snack attacks and zero leftovers.

⚡🌱 Electroculture Experiment Update: Did It Work? 🌱⚡

After months of testing electroculture in my garden, the results are in… and they’re NOT what I expected! My electroculture bed was destroyed by slugs, while my control bed actually thrived. But was this a failure of electroculture itself, or did I do something wrong?

Watch the full video where I break down everything that happened, the weirdest discoveries I made, and what’s next for this experiment. And if YOU have tried electroculture before, I’d love to hear your experience in the comments!
