Day 2 Transformation Tuesday this is my UnionJack dresser it was a 5 drawer unit but a few of the drawers were damaged so I cut it down to a 3 drawer…..I put the Union Jack on the back too as it will sit in my shop window so you can see it from both sides I might keep this as a display unit but always up for a cheeky offer 😜 used Brave Blue, Feeling Festive and Brilliant White loved making this and it’s totally inspired by who’s also working on a Union Jack peice too so go check her page out

Day 1 of the and it starts with bright and beautiful 🤩 I have to use my rainbow cupboard for this upcycled using all chalk paint Colours used are
Main cupboard in Terrific Teal
Rainbow and drawer colours
Feeling Festive (red)
Autumn Aura (orange)

Buttered Bread (yellow)
Tranquil Thistle (purple)

I was asked to make some drawstring bags for my friend who works in the nicu, they use them when the babies go home to keep all their milestones and personal keepsakes in….. If anyone would like one making for their baby’s keepsakes, then Dm me and we can have a chat

Finally got round to posting a before and after of the bedside units.
The lovely lady who bought my apothecary dressers, was looking for bedside units to match, I had these 2 already in my stash and she loved the style….
They were painted in a deep blue so I started by sanding/scraping all the paint off so I was back to a bare wood, as the customer wanted wooden tops
Painted using deep delta and waxed with dark wax from . I changed the handles out for ones to match the dressers.
She collected today and was delighted with them 👊👊x

What makes RRR different ……
I am a little different from most upcyclers, as I will literally upcycle- reuse- and remake new items from any materials I can obtain or I am given
My favourites to use are:
Unwanted clothes and bedding
Leftover wool and wood, fabric remnants, used plastic bottles, and of course used furniture. I also stock a recycled paint by the fabulous
What’s the most random item you have upcycled ? Mine is the lid of a bbq 🤣
Or do you have something that I could upcycle for you into something new

Had a go at something new today ….I used a router!! it wasn’t as hard as I was thought… so it is always good to have a try at new things. This upcycle is inspired by who has a more in depth tutorial on her page (I’m not that good yet to be able to teach others ) so go check her page out if you fancy having a try yourself 🤩🤩

Mum and Dad have had 2 lower cupboards changed in their kitchen to drawers for easier access, they are in a dark grey. So they wanted to update the pine top cupboards to complement the new drawers. They choose the lovely from my stock, Dad loved it and said “it went on so easy and covered really well, I’m impressed”
