Stafford’s Tap Water

If you live in Stafford, you probably already know the tap water here isn’t exactly winning any awards for purity. But until you see what’s in it, you don’t truly appreciate how much of a difference a good water filter can make.

A few months ago, I installed a water filter directly on the mains in my home. The goal was simple: cleaner water for drinking, cooking, and even keeping appliances in better shape. Fast forward to today—when it was time to replace the filters—and let me just say… I’m officially horrified.

Take a look at the photos I’ve shared: the clean, white filter cartridge you start with versus what it looks like after a few months of filtering Stafford’s water. And yes, I even cut one of the used cartridges in half. The dirt isn’t just on the surface—it goes all the way through. This is what the filter caught, which means this is what we’d been drinking and cooking with before the system was installed.

I’m honestly so thankful we decided to make the switch. The difference in taste, quality, and peace of mind has been worth every penny. It’s incredible what a proper filtration system can do—and slightly terrifying to think about what’s still coming out of unfiltered taps around town.

So, let me get this straight… they want us to switch to green energy, but keep adding taxes to the mix? Feels like they’re expecting us to have BBQs using a magnifying glass. Problem is, this is the UK—sunlight’s rarer than a unicorn! 🦄☀️

And let’s not forget the middle class—they’re juggling bills like circus clowns already. Adding more green taxes isn’t saving the planet; it’s just burning a hole in our wallets (no magnifying glass needed).

A Bathroom Transformation We’re Grateful to Be Part Of

This was a project that started as a small, tired space and ended as a modern, luxurious bathroom that we’re so proud to have worked on.

🚪 Before: The original bathroom was functional but lacked the elegance and efficiency the homeowners deserved. It was clear this space had potential, and we were excited to help bring their vision to life.

🔧 During: As with any renovation, it took careful planning and a bit of hard work. From stripping back to the bare bones to installing the frame for the new layout, every step was focused on ensuring the final result was something the homeowners would truly love.

✨ After: The finished bathroom is now bright, airy, and sophisticated. The marble-effect tiles, sleek vanity, and those gold accents create a timeless elegance, while the new layout maximizes both space and functionality. We’re especially proud of the custom herringbone shower tiling—it’s the small details that make all the difference!
