A recently finished large project undertaken in Hutton Rudby, 830 boiler paired with a Culmstore low loss header. Feeding two undefloor heating zones, upstairs radiators and unvented hot water system.

The same, but different. First time for everything. House builders installed the boiler too close to the electrical fuse box, which then didn’t allow for the front of the boiler to drop fully, allowing access into the hydraulics section. Which also contravened the manufacturer’s specs. So the boiler has been moved around an inch to the right to give clearance

10 year old Ideal i30 coming out after discovering a leak inside the main heat exchanger, common issue on these. Replaced with a BAXI 830 Combi 2, with a 10 year warranty. Should definitely outlast the old boiler!
