This open-plan kitchen and living room was suffering from poor plastering, leaving the ceilings and walls looking rough and uneven.
Using our Mirka dustless sanding system, we thoroughly prepared all surfaces to create a smooth, uniform finish before applying a premium ultra flat matt paint.

This one was looking worn and weathered — now fully refreshed with a clean, crisp finish using Sandtex masonry.

Ceiling crack repair done properly ✔️
This wasn’t something that would hold with standard flexible filler alone — it needed reinforcing properly to ensure both durability and a flawless finish.
Here’s the process:
🔹 Opened the crack to remove weak material
🔹 Applied a base coat of filler
🔹 Installed Toupret Scrim Tape to reinforce the joint
🔹 Carefully built out over the repair, feathering 150–300mm each side so it blends seamlessly into the ceiling
🔹 Sanded and prepped ready for a smooth, invisible finish
For a full long-term solution, the correct approach is to also locate the plasterboard joint and install additional fixings before taping — this helps eliminate movement at the source.
With cracks like this, there are never 100% guarantees due to natural movement within a property.
But when repaired and finished this way, you’re giving it the best possible chance — while ensuring the repair is completely unnoticeable once painted.

A brief update for our customers:
As part of our continued commitment to delivering a high-end, professional service, we are refining our booking process to ensure every project is managed to the highest standard.
A minimum 20% deposit will now be required to secure all bookings. All quotations must also be formally accepted with a signed agreement prior to any work commencing.
We will no longer proceed on the basis of verbal agreements.
These measures are in place to ensure clarity, commitment, and a seamless experience from initial enquiry through to completion.
